FAQ:

What type of yoga do you teach?

I teach to who is in front of me. All levels, all ages, all body types.

I joke that Restorative Yoga is a yoga nap. We stretch through various supine positions, child's pose and hip openers. The purpose is to relax our nervous system and open up the tightness we accumulate day to day.

Vinyasa translates to breath linked movement and in my Vinyasa Flow classes we focus on moving with our breath into various poses. This is a more active and dynamic range of movement that I also teach to all levels. Expect to be challenged, feel more embodied, feel more confident, a little sweaty, and ready to embrace life with a more open heart.

Do you offer private sessions?

I have a beautiful in-home studio is Glendale, Wisco. Send me an email explaining what you need on your healing journey. I will combine my many years of yoga practice, meditation, and Ayurvedic study into a session just for you.

How much experience do you have?

I began my yoga journey at 17 where I discovered Ashtanga Yoga. I practiced 6 days a week for years and years, eventually becoming an apprentice. I was struggling with my mental health and an eating disorder and unfortunately, this practice encourages a very strict diet and I took that as fuel to self-harm for years in the name of devotion.

As I began to travel the world I realized there is so much more than the asana practice on the mat. I began diving into meditation, self-study, got sober and became devoted to radical self-acceptance in body and mind.

This journey has taken me to many beautiful places to learn, to teach, to share these practices with others. I'm very grateful to be where I am today, thank you for riding this wave called life with me.
