A R T I S T B I O
By nature, I am a documentary style photographer and filmmaker - a storyteller. I believe we can change the world by shining light on our struggles. The philosophy we are the walking wounded is the backbone that motivates my work.
My photographic portfolio consists of imagery from around the world, capturing a unique perspective of wonderment in nature and curious portraits.
Mixed media documentaries are currently in production with means to ask society for compassion for the other. I am driven to know why we are a highly addicted, depressed and suicidal society. From personal experience with addiction, I believe in rehabilitation, alternative therapies and art making in order to heal. I strive to create engaging art and believe I am successful only if I induce empathy, curiosity and change in my audience.
My Disordered Eating is a piece of art that will raise awareness with a vengeance. Our eating disorder recovery stories will show hope, compassion and brutal lessons in self-love while we fight for our lives and fight for recovery from the throes of mental suffering.
